Pumpkin Dessert Squares

Ingredients:

  • 1 package yellow cake mix (set aside one cup)
  • 1/2 cup melted butter
  • 3 large eggs
  • 13.5 oz jar Muirhead Pecan Pumpkin Butter
  • 1/8 cup milk
  • 1 tablespoon flour
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1/4 cup softened butter
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350 F
  2. Reserve one cup of cake mix for later
  3. Combine the remaining mix with the melted butter and one egg in a bowl
  4. Press this mixture into the botton of a 9″ by 13″ pan
  5. In another bowl mix the Muirhead Pecan Pumpkin Butter with two eggs and milk
  6. Pour this results over the cake mixture in the pan
  7. Stir the reserved cup of cake mix with the flour, sugar, softened butter and cinnamon.
  8. Mix together until crumbly
  9. Sprinkle over top of the pumpkin layer
  10. Bake for 35 to 40 minutes or until golden brown
  11. Cut into 2 inch squares and serve
